Introduction:
Welcome to the Spirit Bible!
I am calling this “The Spirit Bible” because the Bible is a kind of report, about how God has reached
out to us – through his Spirit.
What does that mean?
Jesus told us that:
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
John 4:24
If that is the case then “the spirit” must be an important topic.
Therefore:
In this publication, I have emphasized certain words and phrases in bold text:

Spirit
Spirits
Spiritual
The word of The Lord
The Lord said
LORD God
God said

Finally, I tried to highlight every occurrence of “God”, but a search that large makes my
computer crash!
I pray that this illumination is of help to anyone in their search for God.

Note: I have removed the traditional chapter and verse numbers firstly, because they were never part of
the original text, and secondly, I believe that knowing what the Bible says is more important than
memorizing chapter and verse numbers. Also, by leaving out the chapter and verse numbers, the form
of the text appears a little more like it would have to the original readers.
